After the Surgery
For additional information regarding post surgery care you can refer to the Better Heath Channel at www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au This site is managed by the Victorian Government and is regularly updated.
On this site there is a search function at the top right hand side of the screen. You can insert the name of your surgical procedure, eg after a carpel tunnel operation, and a screen will inform you about the operation and the associated after care.
However, if you are experiencing any problems after the surgery, you must notify your surgeon immediately. If they are not contactable then you must contact your GP.
